Creating a 3-D Image Effect w/Adobe Photoshop

In our last post we had a “3-D”  image I created to give a visual of a paragraph I’d written. I mentioned at the end of the post that I’d do a follow-up post on how I created the image. I know not all our followers/members are Adobe Photoshop owners/enthusiasts but some of you have expressed interest in it and how I accomplish some of our photo renderings.

I used another program called Camtasia Studio version 8 to create a video tutorial below showing/explaining the steps I took to create the 3-D effect.  I also want to mention a Google Extension that can also be installed on most all browsers as well as Mac & PC users and is available for iPad & iPhone. This is an amazing effect for your browser, especially if you enjoy looking/searching for specific photos & images on the web. It’s called “Image Search by Cooliris”.
