Somewhere Over The Rainbow

Yesterday, Miss Carol and I just chilled out as scattered thunder-showers were predicted all day.  Sure enough it rained off and on all day with occasional lightning and thundering.  Late in the afternoon as the clouds started dissipating and the sun was setting low on the horizon, the most spectacular pair of rainbows, one appeared to be a reflection of the other, formed right above the lake. It appeared you could see each end of the main one and it looked like it went right into the water. It was really an awesome site and the pictures and video don’t really do it justice but here they are.  Just below is a media player for you to click on the “Play” button and enjoy one of Miss Carol’s favorite artist and song while you view the pics and video.

  1. Great pictures of the rainbows. We saw one like this when we were in Yellowstone at the Grizzly RV Park. It is pretty awesome!
