Family and Food Weekend

Sunday, our second oldest daughter Amy, Son-n-law Gary, Grandson Trace, Granddaughter Angel, and Trace’s girlfriend Candace came out and spent the afternoon with us.

We had a really good time.  Carol and I cooked a bar-b-que brisket in the slow cooker for 14 hours during the night. I fixed a dish of baked beans and Amy fixed her World Famous Potato Salad.  After we pigged out on all the food, we kicked back and watched a couple of NFL Football games.  We also went outside, even though it was extremely windy to enjoy a few games of Geezer Golf.  We paired up three teams and had an eliminations tournament.

Between games, Carol and Angel made us a big dish of Lemon Bars.  They were really good and we put a pretty good dent in them.  Whatever was left over, Amy & Gary took home with them.

Gary and Amy own their own Licensed Plumbing business.  It’s called Texas Plumbing. They  do work in the DFW Metroplex and surrounding areas.  They are a new starting business trying to establish some regular customers. So, if any of you are in this area or know someone that is, they do great work and are always below the average price for doing the job.  Website: http://txplumbing.net  Phone: (817) 386-0930
