We’ve Finally Found Paradise

Well, Paradise, MI. that is.  Today was a “Road Day” for us. We moved from Brimley State Park in Brimley, MI. to Tahquamenon Falls State Park. A drive of only 59 miles. It almost feels like Michigan is a huge pin-ball machine and we are the metal ball bouncing from one state park to another. Actually we are thoroughly enjoying the State Parks and our next 2 stops are Michigan State Parks. We will be here for 7 days.

It was afternoon by the time we arrived and got camp all set up. Carol needed to do a couple of loads of laundry and by that time, it was time to start on dinner.

The Falls here are supposed to be really pretty and we plan to check them out tomorrow. From our campsite, there are trails that lead to the Falls, so I imagine Carol will most likely persuade me to walk along with her and Joe and Sophie.

Here’s an early preview of the Falls. We’ll take our own pictures tomorrow.

There is also a “Shipwreck” Museum nearby along with some scenic roads to drive.

  1. We were in that area a few years back and since I, Kimberly was from Michigan, I was the tour guide, we were not disappointed.

The Shipwreck Museum was the best, the upper and lower falls were just as great.

Enjoy yourselves and we look forward to reading about your adventures.

  2. Tahquamenon Falls is a pretty spot! Hope you really enjoyed yourself. Looking forward to seeing some of the beauty you captured with your camera!

    Have a great day! =)

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment on our Blog. It is nice to know that they are getting read.
