Carol and I celebrated our 17th Anniversary yesterday. We decided to celebrate in style in Canada since neither of us had ever been there. The U.S. to Canada bridge we had to cross was very long passing over the Soo Locks. The traffic coming into the U.S. was backed up for a mile and the toll attendant told us it was about an hours wait, but by the time we would be returning, it would only take about 15 - 20 minutes.

Canada Customs Complex
After passing through the Customs Station on the Canada side we drove around for an hour scouting out places to eat. There wasn’t a whole lot to choose from.
We ended up at a place called Docks Riverfront Grill. Very nice place and by the time we left there was a line to get in.
Celebrating our 17th
Carol had a Greek Chicken Wrap w/Onion Rings and I had the Fried Coconut Shrimp Dinner w/veggies, baked potato, and salad.

On our way home Carol snapped a pretty picture from the bridge as we passed over the Soo Locks.
P.S.: I gave Carol a Sony eBook Reader w/book cover, carrying case, and 4Gb memory card for our Anniversary. She’s already downloaded a couple of books off the Internet (I haven’t told her it will hold over 3,000 books). She played around with it all day.
