Day At The Beach

Map picture
This was our first full day in Michigan. The Van Buren State Park just south of South Haven, MI. has access to a mile long stretch of pretty, clean, and popular beach on Lake Michigan. We walked about 400 yds. from our campsite to the entrance. Didn't take us long to kick off the sandals and walk barefoot. We waded out into the cool water. We had huge waves of about a foot. ha ha.  It's nice to be where the temperatures are a little cooler. The high today was in the upper 70's.  We're going to be here for 4 days then will move northward along the Lake Michigan coastline and eventually getting to Mackinaw City where we visited our first year of full-timing.

Some of you might notice that we've changed the appearance of our Blog.  We plan to do this occasionally in order to keep our "Followers" and viewers from getting bored at looking at the same ole' page. We want to keep it interesting and keep you coming back.
